One Track Pony Noir-Indie aus Edinburgh – Hamish Hawk
Das dritte Soloalbum des schottischen Indie-Baritons Hamish Hawk erinnert einmal mehr an eine Mischung aus The Divine Comedy, Jarvis Cocker, Madrugada und The Pretenders. In dunklen, sehr offenen Texten über Scham, Schuld und Sexualität führt seine Charakterstimme durch zwölf Indie-Rock-Perlen, die zwar ihre Wurzeln in den 80er-Jahren zu haben scheinen, aber am Ende eigenständig und durchweg edel daher kommen. Frank Lechtenberg stellt das neue Album von Hamish Hawk vor und spielt dazu Musik von James, Fontaines D.C., Pulp oder auch Molchat Doma.
