StadtMagazin Hauke Jessen (Bildhauer) zu Gast
Hauke Jessen, 1971 in Dagebüll, Nordfriesland geboren, ist Bildhauer. Seine Ausbildung zum Holzbildhauer hat er in Flensburg absolviert und war anschließend drei Jahre auf Wanderschaft in Europa. Seit 1998 arbeitet er in Hamburg an Holzskulpturen, Bronzeplastiken, Gemälden und Zeichnungen.
In seiner Kunst vermeidet er bewusst die heroische und idealisierte Darstellung seiner Figuren. Stattdessen zeigt er beschädigte Schönheit und androgyne Züge und bezieht psychologische und philosophische Perspektiven mit ein.
