Die Band hinter dem Song – ESG – tummelte sich in den 80er-Jahren in der Szene rund um die legendären Post-Punk-Labels Factory Records und 99. Bis heute ist die New Yorker Formation aktiv und genießt mit ihren eigenwilligen Songs inzwischen Kultstatus.
