Pharmacy Asthmatic Kitty Records
Im März erschien das aktuelle Album von Sufjan Stevens, „Aporia“, das er gemeinsam mit seinem Stiefvater, Lowell Brams, komponiert und aufgenommen hat. Die beiden verbindet mehr als nur eine Vater/Sohn-Beziehung. Ihm hat er den Großteil seiner musikalischen Erziehung zu verdanken. Außerdem gründeten die beiden vor über 20 Jahren das Label Asthmatic Kitty Records.
Für Sufjan Stevens markiert „Aporia“ eine Art Abschied, denn seit dem letzten Jahr lässt Lowell Brams seine Tätigkeiten für das Label ruhen. Grund genug für ein kleines Asthmatic-Kitty-Special.
