Forward The Bass Künstlerspecial: Buju Banton
Mark Anthony Myrie aka Buju Banton ist einer der einflussreichsten und meistgehörtesten jamaikanischen Reggae- & Dancehall-Künstler, dem mit seinem Album "Til Shiloh" 1995 auch der internationale Durchbruch gelang. Im Jahr 2011 erhielt er für sein Album "Before The Dawn" sogar den Grammy für das beste Reggae-Album, und seine Fangemeinde weltweit ist trotz diverser Kontroversen um seine frühen Werke riesig. Am vergangenen Wochenende kehrte er nach 9 Jahren US-Haft in seine Heimat Jamaika zurück, und als kleinen Willkommensgruß widmen wir ihm die heutige Sendung.
