Hidden Tracks TV On The Radio
In dieser Woche gibt es eine Rückschau auf die Band TV On The Radio und gleichzeitig Vorschau auf das erste Soloalbum von Bandmitglied Tunde Adebimpe („Thee Black Boltz“).
Angefangen hat es in einem Coffee Shop in Brooklyn im Jahr 2000/01, wo sich Dave Sitek und Tunde Adebimpe kennenlernten. Bis 2014 kamen fünf reguläre Alben von TV On The Radio heraus. Das erste inoffizielle „OK Calculator“ war eine selbstgebrannte CD im Jahr 2002, die zum Vertrieb in anderen Coffee Shops New Yorks verteilt wurde.
Im Juni wird die Band aber wieder in Europa Live zu erleben sein, obwohl ihr letztes Album („Seeds“) schon elf Jahre zurückliegt.
