One Track Pony Politischer Shoegaze – DIIV
Die US-amerikanische Indie-Rock-Band DIIV aus Brooklyn legt ein gesellschaftskritisches Shoegaze-Album vor. Auf „Frog In Boiling Water“ finden sich zehn homogen produzierte Tracks, die in ihrer Entstehung aber alles andere als einfach gewesen sind. Klassische Shoegaze-Gitarren mit dem eher instrumental anmutenden Gesang von Zachary Cole Smith prägen die Songs, die Frank Lechtenberg in dieser Stunde One Track Pony vorstellt. Dazu gibt es Musik von Escape With Romeo, Jen Cloher oder Tim Bowness.
