90 Jahre alt wäre Donald Byrd in diesem Jahr geworden. Anlass genug für sein Label Blue Note Records bisher unveröffentlichte Aufnahmen ans Tageslicht zu bringen. Mit „Live: Cookin‘ With Blue Note At Montreux” erscheint nun eine Live-Session aus dem Jahr 1973, die es aus unerklärlichen Gründen nie auf Vinyl geschafft hatte.
