Eine junge, sympathische Band aus London sind The Bridport Dagger (Foto). Jung, da sie erst vor einem Jahr ihr Debüt veröffentlicht haben und sympathisch, da alles bislang nur auf Vinyl erschienen ist.
Ungewöhnlich ist ihre Besetzung, zwei Gitarren, ein Schlagzeug. Kein Bass! "Melodramatischer Pop" wurde ihre Musik schon genannt, auch "Flamencobilly" und "Garage-Folk". Puuh! Aber klar ist, auf diese Band sollte man ein Auge haben. Und ein Ohr, besser noch zwei, um ihre Songs bei "So Weit, So Gut" zu hören.
