Sie war lange Zeit die jüngste Sängerin, die eine Nummer 1 in den amerikanischen Billboard-Charts landen konnte: 1963 gelang Peggy March, damals 15 Jahre alt, mit "I Will Follow Him" ein Überraschungserfolg. Dennoch wurde sie vor allem in den folgenden Jahren in Europa, vor allem in Deutschland, bekannt und sang als Schlagersängerin in über 9 Sprachen. Heute wird Peggy March 70 Jahre alt.
