Die heutige Ausgabe der Tropical Heat Show wird wieder einmal von dem Hamburger Soundsystem King Kong Disko gestaltet. Nachdem sich letzten Monat alles um das Thema Carnival und globaler Tropentechno gedreht hat, tauchen wir in dieser Sendung ganz tief in die Reggaehistorie ein.
Auf unserem neuen Mixtape 'Studio 1 Riddimwise II' widmen wir uns dem beeindruckenden Lebenswerk der jamaikanischen Produzentenlegende Sir CoxsoneDownbeat und das gleich auf zwei Stunden Länge. Gefeatured werden hierbei speziell die klassischen Reggae Riddims die Coxsones Label zum Ausgangspunkt der Entwicklung eines ganzen Musikgenres machen sollte.
