StadtMagazin Ute Lohrentz (HAW Hamburg)
Ute Lohrentz wurde 1965 in Rheine geboren. Nach einem Studium der Rechtswissenschaften und der Romanistik in Münster und Lausanne (Schweiz) arbeitete sie zunächst als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiterin an der Universität in Münster und schloss 1999 ihre juristische Promotion ab. Es folgten diverse Stationen als Rechtsanwältin, Professorin und Prodekanin und ein Masterstudium in „Hochschul- und Wissenschaftsmanagement“.
Im Anschluss war Ute Lohrentz an der TH Köln als Dekanin der Fakultät für Angewandte Sozialwissenschaften tätig, bevor sie an die Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften in Hamburg wechselte. Seit Mai dieses Jahres ist Ute Lohrenz Präsidentin der Hochschule.
Heute ist sie im StadtMagazin bei Ruben Jonas Schnell zu Gast.
