Der Daumen ist eine Anspielung auf den Jazzgitarristen Wes Montgomery, der am 6. März 100 Jahre alt geworden wäre. Er ist wahrscheinlich der einflussreichste Jazzgitarrist aller Zeiten und sein Spiel mit dem Daumen sowie die Verwendung von Oktaven gehören zu seinen Markenzeichen.
