Standard 100 Jahre Hipp
Am 4. Februar wäre die Pianistin Jutta Hipp 100 Jahre alt geworden. Die Leipziger Künstlerin machte sich schnell in Deutschland sowie Europa einen Namen und ging Mitte der 1950er-Jahre nach New York. Dort spielte sie u. a. mit Ed Thigpen, Zoot Sims und Charles Mingus zusammen. Ein guter Anlass, um sich einige Aufnahmen von Jutta Hipp anzuhören.
