Wellenlänge Talk Talk: vom Synthpop zum Post-Rock
Vor 40 Jahren veröffentlichten Talk Talk ihr Debütalbum "The Party's Over" – ein Synthpop-Album par excellence. Damit legte die Londoner Band den Grundstein für zwei weitere erfolgreiche Alben und Hits wie "Such A Shame", "It's My Life" oder "Life's What You Make It". Doch bereits während dieser Zeit wandten sich Talk Talk immer stärker der experimentellen Popmusik zu. Diese Entwicklung gipfelte darin, dass ihr Spätwerk den Post-Rock vorwegnahm.
