ByteFM Magazin Isobel Campbell zu Gast
Die aus Glasgow stammende Chamber-Pop-Sängerin Isobel Campbell veröffentlicht nach einer 14-jährigen Pause am 7. Februar 2020 ihr sechstes Album „There Is No Other“.
Ihre ersten Erfolge feierte Campbell als Sängerin, Cellistin und Gitarristin der seit 1994 bestehenden Indie-Pop-Band Belle & Sebastian. Bevor die Schottin 2002 die Band verließ, um sich ihrer Solokarriere zu widmen, veröffentlichte sie bereits unter dem Pseudonym The Gentle Waves das Album „The Green Fields Of Foreverland“.
In Campbells Musik finden sich starke Einflüsse von Folk, wobei sie gerne auf klassische Instrumente wie Cello und Piano zurückgreift. Sie selbst bezeichnet sich als große Sympathisantin von traditionellem Folk und Country.
Im Rahmen ihrer Tour ist Isobel Campbell am 13. Februar bei Christa Herdering im ByteFM Magazin am Nachmittag zu Gast und spricht über ihr neuestes Album „There Is No Other“.
