Als Quickly, Quickly veröffentlichte der in Portland lebende Graham Jonson seinen Psych-Pop erstmals 2021 mit „The Long And Short Of It“ auf Albumlänge. Sein aktuelles Album „I Heard That Noise“ (2025), im eigenen Studio Kenton Sounds produziert, fällt von einem Moment in das andere. Verspielte Soundarrangements, die mit geräuschvollen Klanglandschaften verzaubern wollen, führen in eine Ballade, die ironischen Witz anbietet bis in den Tracktitel, wie bei „Enything“. Die lockeren Referenzen in seinen oft mit einer verspulten Klangästhetik spielenden Songs, jeder für sich ein neues Angebot, werden verbunden von einem Folk-Songwriting, das diese zu einem Hörerlebnis verschmilzt.
