Mit dem gitarrenlastigen, englischsprachigen 90er-Jahre-Indie-Rock ihres Debütalbums „You Deserve Romance“ hat die Leipzigerin Katja Seiffert aka Blush Always im vergangenen Jahr ein Ausrufezeichen in der deutschen Musiklandschaft gesetzt. Verpackt in einer analogen Ästhetik mit Ohrwurmpotenzial, reflektieren ihre selbstermächtigenden Texte die Unsicherheiten und Konflikte einer Mittzwanzigerin und finden Anklang bei einer Generation, der Identifikation mit Musik besonders wichtig ist.
Ihr nächstes Projekt steht bereits in den Startlöchern: Am 6. September 2024 – nicht nicht einmal ein Jahr nach ihrem Debüt – erscheint ihr zweites Album „An Ode To?“, auf dem sich Blush Always lauter denn je zeigt.
