All Samples Cleared!? Ready To Die
Der Rapper Notorious B.I.G. hat im Jahr 1994 mit seinem Album "Ready To Die" einen Höhepunkt der bisherigen HipHop-Geschichte veröffentlicht. Ein Jahr später erschien eine um zahlreiche Tracks erweiterte Ausgabe dieses Albums. Im Rahmen dieser Sendung sind beide schon mehrfach aufgetaucht - heute stehen sie im Mittelpunkt.
Und wem in der letzten Folge aufgefallen ist, dass die Jungle Brothers vor allem Musik aus den 70ern gesampled haben, dem sei gesagt, dass The Notorious B.I.G. vor allem Musik aus den 80ern benutzt hat. So wie Zapp, Mtume oder The Isley Brothers.
