Der Hype um VV Brown, La Roux, Little Boots und Florence & The Machine ist noch gar nicht so richtig ins Rollen gekommen, da spuckt London schon die nächsten zwei Girl-Power-Pop-Granaten aus.
Catherine A.D. (Foto links) heißt die eine, über deren Stimme man sagt, sie klänge wie ein See aus schwarzem Honig. Die andere nennt sich Ellie Goulding (Foto rechts), ist noch unsigned und musikalisch in der „Kate Nash meets Hot Chip“-Schublade zuhause. Ob die beiden Newcomerinnen wirklich so gut sind, wie der Ruf, der ihnen vorauseilt, hört ihr diese Woche bei Almost Famous.
