Sein Auftritt beim legendären Woodstock-Festival 1969 machte ihn über Nacht zum Star, und auch heute, fast 50 jahre später, vermittelt Carlos Santana immer noch den Spirit von Musik als universale und verbindende Kraft. Im Unterschied zu damals dürften heute weit weniger Drogen und Alkohol eine Rolle spielen. Trotzdem darf angestoßen werden: Carlos Santana feiert heute seinen 70. Geburtstag.
