Seit knapp einem Jahrzehnt ist JJ Weihl Sängerin und Bassistin der Berliner Psych-Pop-Band Fenster. Mit "Remote Control" veröffentlichte die in New York geborene Wahlberlinerin am 5. Juni 2020 ihr Solo-Debüt unter dem Namen Discovery Zone, welches musikalisch im Spannungsfeld zwischen Futurismus und Retromanie pendelt.
