ByteFM Magazin 12 Inches Of Snow
Ein Kanadier mit irischen Wurzeln, der jamaikanischen Dancehall macht. Denneth Karren O'Brien heißt der Mann, der sich das in den 90ern getraut hat. Unter dem Namen „Snow“ veröffentlichte er heute vor 30 Jahren sein Debütalbum: "12 Inches Of Snow“. Eine Mischung aus Reggae, Jazz und Rap. Die Single „Informer" daraus wurde ein weltweiter Hit, sorgt(e) aber auch immer für Diskussionen, wenn es um kulturelle Aneignung geht.

"Es gibt nur cool und uncool und wie man sich fühlt" ist ursprünglich vom Lied "Ich mag dich einfach nicht mehr so" von Tocotronic und nicht von Eins Zwo.
Das konnte ich mir jetzt leider nicht verkneifen ;-)
