ByteFM Magazin The Murlocs zu Gast
The Murlocs, 2010 in Melbourne gegründet, sind eine dieser Allstar-Bands, wie es sie wohl nur in Australien geben kann. Dort, wo die Kooperationsmentalität ausgeprägter ist und die Bandgefüge durchlässiger sind als in anderen Teilen der Welt. Die Formation, die sich unter anderem aus Mitgliedern von King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Civic und Crepes zusammensetzt, hat mit „Calm Ya Farm“ im Mai 2023 bereits ihr siebtes Album veröffentlicht – eine Platte zwischen groovendem Psych-Pop und R&B.
