ByteFM Magazin Braake zu Gast
Das Berliner Quintett Braake hat im Oktober 2023 sein erstes Album „Kann ja alles sein“ auf Tapete Records veröffentlicht. Benannt haben sie sich nach dem niedersächsischen Dorf Brake, wo die Demos für das Debütalbum aufgenommen wurden. Benno Bings, Till Schomburg und Gregor Zenns lernten sich schon zu Schulzeiten kennen, später stießen Camillo Kießig und Julian Colin hinzu, der auch als Produzent (u. a. für Tristan Brusch) fungiert.
Dem analogen, warmen 70er-Jahre-Sound stehen auf „Kann ja alles sein“ teils etwas unterkühlte Texte gegenüber. „Wir wollen nicht so gewöhnlich sein / so schrecklich gewöhnlich wie unsere Freunde“, heißt es zum Beispiel in „Meine Freunde“. Ob ihre Freunde trotzdem noch zu ihren Konzerten kommen, erzählen Braake vielleicht im Interview im ByteFM Magazin, in dem sie zu Gast sind.
