ByteFM Magazin Shkoon zu Gast
Das deutsch-syrische Elektronik-Duo Shkoon gründete sich 2015 an einem Küchentisch in Hamburg. Aus einer spontanen Jamsession entwickelte sich schließlich eine langjährige und erfolgreiche musikalische Kollaboration. Der internationale Durchbruch gelang 2019 mit zahlreichen Festival-Shows in ganz Europa und dem Debütalbum „Rima“. Nach einem Livealbum im Jahr 2022 veröffentlichten Shkoon im November dieses Jahres ihr neuestes Album „Masrahiya“. Auf dem Konzeptalbum verbinden Shkoon traditionelle arabische Folklore und Gesang mit House, Downbeat und Dub.
