Ausgabe vom 23.11.2011: King Kong Disko
Die heutige Ausgabe von Tropical Heat wird wieder einmal vom Hamburger Soundsystem King Kong Disko präsentiert und aus aktuellem Anlass wollen wir in dieser Sendung mit euch feiern.
Die Gorilla DJs konnten vor zwei Wochen den DHM E-Clash, Deutschlands größten Internet Dubplate Soundclash gewinnen und die begehrte Trophäe somit zum zweiten Mal nach 2009 an die Elbe holen. Daher spielen wir in der ersten Stunde einen Mix aus weltexklusiven King Kong Disko Dubs aus den Bereichen Reggae, Soul und HipHop.
HipHop ist auch das Stichwort für die zweite Stunde. Als kleinen Vorgeschmack auf die nächste Party aus der mittlerweile sehr beliebten 90s Retro Reihe „Auf dem Rapfilm hängengeblieben“ spielen wir eine Stunde Rap Classics und Collectorstunes aus der Golden Era. Dort gibt es am 17.12. u.a. King Kong Disko an den Wheels of Steel zu hören und garantiert auch Beats und Rhymes galore.
