Beim Aufräumen des Plattenregals wiederentdeckt: Spare Snare aus Schottland!
Jan Burnett gründete die Band 1991 und versuchte sich stylistisch an einer Art Lo-Fi-Version von Joy Division. Das machte die Band in den 90er-Jahren zu einer Lieblingsband von John Peel (inklusive drei Peel-Sessions). Seit 2018 arbeitet die Band eng mit Steve Albini zusammen. In dieser Woche erscheint das zwölfte Album der Band "The Brutal" (produziert von Steve Albini).
Man sollte häufiger im Plattenregal rumwühlen.
