Was es mit einem gefundenen Sack voller Geld anstellen würde, malt sich das nach Kalifornien umgezogene Minneapolis-Funk-Duo King Pari aus. Ein goldenes Sonnenbad beschert uns ein 80s-Jangle-Pop-Klassiker der Band Felt. Wichtig für die britische Indie- und überhaupt für die Pop-Geschichte waren in den 80ern auch Orange Juice, deren Sänger Edwyn Collins am 23. August 65 Jahre alt geworden ist.
Neues hören wir auch von dem britischen Producer Steven Julien und der schwedischen Sängerin Fatima, von System Olympia und P Nut, australischen Psych-Pop und das Debüt einer britischen Singer-Songwriterin namens Lerryn.
