Zum 60ten Geburtstag von Nick Cave erscheint passenderweise die Graphic Novel „Have mercy on me“ von Reinhard Kleist. Da schmettert er sich selbst gern mit seiner Ex-Band The Birthday Party einen Geburtstagsgruß.
Sein langjähriger Musiker-Kompagnon Mick Harvey kommt mit seinen Serge Gainsbourg-Adaptionen genauso zum Zuge wie drei entfesselte Ladies namens Zola Jesus, Chelsea Wolfe und EMA, die Gothic und Industrial auf ihren neuen Alben auf unterschiedliche Weise einfließen lassen.
