Golden Glades Gute Absichten
Es ist kein Staatsgeheimnis, dass das britische Gesundheitssystem NHS finanziell chronisch unterversorgt ist. Der walisische Musikjournalist Kevin McGrath hat deshalb mit der Compilation "V4Velindre" einen Fundraiser gestartet. Fast drei Stunden Musik ist hier versammelt; die Einnahmen aus den Download-Verkäufen über Bandcamp.com gehen direkt an das Velindre Cancer Centre in Cardiff. Beharrlichkeit und gute Connections wird McGrath gebraucht haben, um die 50 Tracks zusammen zu tragen. Viele Acts aus Wales sind dabei (Boy Azooga, The Grief Brothers), aber auch Bands von außerhalb (The Wedding Present, BOB) zeigen gute Absichten und haben zum Teil exklusive Songs beigesteuert.
