The Dead Trees begannen 2007 damit Musik zu machen. Längere Zeit interessierten sich nur wenige für ihre Songs, bis sie 2009 Albert Hammond Jr. für sich entdeckte und einlud, ihn auf seiner Solo-Tournee zu begleiten. Über den The Strokes Gitarristen wurden u.a. auch Adam Green, MGMT oder Little Joy auf sie aufmerksam. Für ihr aktuelles Album „Whatwave“ riefen sie zu einer Spendenaktion auf, um die Produktion zu finanzieren. Das hat geklappt und wir freuen uns, sie heute bei uns im ByteFM Magazin mit Christa Herdering begrüßen zu können.
