Canteen 14.01.2013
Die Canteen widmet sich dem High Life 2013, bzw dem „High Living“ wie Chazwick Bundick alias Toro Y Moi es wohl ausdrücken würde. Von dem und Acts wie Apparat, DJ Day, Widowspeak, Wraetlic, Wake Owl und Yo La Tengo gibt es viel Musik des gerade begonnenen Jahres, nebenher allerdings auch noch ein paar Nachzügler aus 2012 wie etwa Shlohmo oder Mount Eerie.
Dabei reicht die Palette von Drum&Bass (!) über Daytime Disco und Gothic Electro bis zu Lo Fi Indie Folk. Zum Ende der Sendung dann noch ein paar Feierlichkeiten zum 75. Geburtstag von New Orleans Soul Legende Allen Toussaint.
