Vor 25 Jahren starb Martin Hannet, der als Produzent bei Factory Records großen Einfluss auf Bands wie bspw. Joy Division hatte. Der Basspieler Bernanrd Edwards starb vor 20 Jahren. Seine Bassline des Songs „Good Times“ der Band Chic beeinflusste viele MusikerInnen nach ihm und wurde häufig gesampelt. Das Album der Woche kommt von PJ Harvey, „The Hope Six Demolition Project“. Geburtstag feiert das Album “Evil Empire” von Rage Against The Machine, es wurde am 16. April 20 Jahre alt.
