Flashback Juni 1985 / The Style Council
Kaum hatte Paul Weller seine Band The Jam Ende 1982 aufgelöst, brachte er mit The Style Council schon ein neues Ensemble an den Start. Mit "Our Favorite Shop" veröffentlichte er im Sommer 1985 bereits das zweite Album. Wir stellen die Platte und die Besetzung vor, spielen einige der schönsten Tracks, zudem diverse Klassiker jener Zeit, u. a. von Bryan Ferry, Scritti Politti und Prefab Sprout.
